1 week stomp around northern Spain

Note that riding in gravel on your bike should be fine - certainly prefer to do it on that than a 1200GS! Just need to avoid excessive front brake and take it easy and smoothly. Know people that have lived at the end of pretty deep gravel roads and gone down them regularly.
Deep enough gravel and a light bike with proper knobblies is still going to have trouble.

Will have a look at your GPX files as I'm heading to Spain in a couple of weeks, though intending to stay further south and hopefully on less-paved routes .

I was actually thinking about your comments in relation to the driveway - can kinda understand if you're out for a 'fun' ride.
