I've just got back from spending a week having a blast around northern Spain. Instead of writing up here you can find a writeup at https://kippax-it.com/dasblog

There are Google maps for each of the routes I used each day, and markers on the maps link to photos taken from that point.

If you can't see the photos then you can get them from https://kippax-it.com/gallery

Any comments appreciated.

Looks like fun Thumbs Up.

Note that riding in gravel on your bike should be fine - certainly prefer to do it on that than a 1200GS! Just need to avoid excessive front brake and take it easy and smoothly. Know people that have lived at the end of pretty deep gravel roads and gone down them regularly.
Deep enough gravel and a light bike with proper knobblies is still going to have trouble.

Will have a look at your GPX files as I'm heading to Spain in a couple of weeks, though intending to stay further south and hopefully on less-paved routes Smile.

It's one of those things. I know it should be OK, but when I knew that I had 20 miles of it to do on tight, hairpin filled mountain roads after already been riding for 6 hours my motivation was a bit lacking.

It's more the thought of trying to pick her up if she goes down. She ain't light Smile

If it had been at the beginning of the day I would probably have had a bash at it. Maybe next time.

Thanks for taking the time to read it. Writing in an interesting manner is not my forte I'm afraid.

I was actually thinking about your comments in relation to the driveway - can kinda understand if you're out for a 'fun' ride.

Writing style was entertaining enough Thumbs Up Smile.

Ahh. Now I see what you mean. It was a bit daunting, but once moving there was no issue. Bike weighed more than ferry I was catching though. I'd got a bit carried away. Problem with having a lot of luggage is that you fill it!
