This is my second time having a go on an RGV 250.

I need to get one, the one thing I loved was the noise and how epiclly fun it was to throw around. As most people know I hate small cc bikes but this bike has me sold.

I'm undecided on if I really want to deal with the upkeep and all that but I would like one for a project.

How much would I be looking at for a project one or hell even a project rs250 ?

Also I must admit I like the TYGA gp style kit on them.

Some one give me one!

I love the smaller cc 2 strokes despite only having owned an RS125.

I will get one in the distant future but at the moment like using my bike for commuting etc.. So it would have to be a second bike as well as a car.

Personally I'm more of a fan of the RS250, but like the look of this RD350 with an RGV rear and front end.

I love 2 strokes, I love the power delivery and the sound they make, it makes me smile every time I ride one Very Happy

Wouldn't mind this, its an 1100cc 3 cylinder 2 stroke, with 250bhp at the rear wheel Cool

There have been murmers of a two stroke revival.

Think of this-low pressure supercharger and fuel injection-the supercharger means you dont have to use the crankcases as an air pump and expansion chambers are no longer necessary to make lots of lovely power.

So they would have fewer moving parts, hae a sealed crank that can run in oil like a 4 smoke and even have a nice wide powerband (the supercharger ensures good cylinder filling even at low RPM...).

Nice thought eh?

we really should bring back litre 2 strokes so it keeps the market of stroke going since everythings four stroke with carb emissions its getting harder to find 2 stroke for less than £8-10 a litre

Always liked the idea of a 250 2 stroke, rgv / rs, either works for me but at 6'3 I really don't see it as something i'd fit on. Although i've never actually tried or ridden one.

I bought an RGV250 and it blew up on the way home from picking it up. Brick Wall
Did a proper job, fucked the power valves etc.

I set about fixing it, discovered the hideous price of better powervalves and decided I wasn't prepared to spunk that away every time the bike threw a hissy fit, sold it on in bits, probably at a loss as usual.

Never even got to ride it properly. Sad

Guess I was never meant to have one. Razz
