well not really.

dad is buying tech net subscription when windows 7 comes out, gets access to everything Microsoft ever made effectively.

Windows 7, all versions available with no time limits or anything.
xp, vista, server, exchange etc all included, all latest versions.


I am not paying though Wink

The limitation is that you're allowed to evaluate the software for as long as you like.

If you want to use it legitimately you still need to buy a licence.
