First impressions are that it seems like a shinier, but otherwise identical, version of Forza 2. Hopefully it'll pick up a bit after a few more plays.

I haven't played Forza 2 for a while but the handling (with all the assists off, using the MS wheel) seemed identical.

I just played it as well and I think they've made it more fun to play, in Forza 2 you really had to concentrate as the handling was quite 'stiff' where as in this it still has the realism but with the fun factor

The cockpit view is good but you can't look around like in PGR4 which is a shame.

Still seems like its going to be awesome. Oh and did I mention the graphics are awesome

I hope there's a setting so you can have the look around controls on the d pad instead of the telemetry. That's what they did in Forza 2 iirc. Without that it's very difficult to use the in car/bonnet views as you can't tell whether you've made a clean pass or not. For some reason they seem to have stripped out the controls menu entirely for the demo.

You can view around the cockpit, just have to push forward on the right stick then move it left and right.

The multiplayer on teh 360 version is apparently on a smaller scale, and the lack of being able to create scenario's kinda sucks?

On the pc you could make some interesting battles.

I remember a base in a valley imparticular, could fill it with hostiles, and have a bit of a ninja fest in the surrounding hills and try to drop them all before you cotton on.

anyone elese dissapointed by the demo?

I had all the assists switched off yet it felt too easy to drive, I found it hard to actually spin out and lose control despite shoddy driving.

The tracks was a bit pants aswell, they should have picked a better one for the demo.

I didnt like the cockpit view either, the DIRT 2 cockpits are ausome and so immerive, the Forza cockpit felt stale, and the hands on the wheel looked meh meh, the steering is so slow its like an old man driving.

I'll probably still buy the whole game, if the reviews are decent, was just a bit meh at the demo.

The cockpit view is a bit poor, but the game's growing on me. I've been playing around with some time trials in the Porsche and that seems to be the one car in the demo that you have to be a bit careful with when you have the assists off, as it will get out of shape pretty easily and you do have to be careful about not getting on the gas too early.

Anyone fancy posting some laptimes up? A bit of competition never hurt. I'll post some later on.
