I think I must have "Information Point" looming above my head everywhere I go.

Walking through the city today I got stopped and asked these questions:

1. Old Couple - "Which way to Glasgow Central?"
2. Gay Chinese Dudes - "How to get to train *shows me ticket*"
3. Lady - "Do you know where the nearest cash-point is?"
4. Another Lady - "I'm looking for the multi-story car-park, sure it was around here.. I'm a bit lost!"

Then five minutes later in McD's to get out of the rain I get asked by a woman who's kids moved to sit at the table next to me.. "Do you know who sings this song? It's killing me."

In Glasgow Central a good looking chick that spotted me from across the crowd walked over and asked - "Hi, Any idea what train it is for Anniesland?"

I don't know the answer to everything folks! give me a break Laughing They seem to pick me out of the crowd.

Anyway, pointless rant over, can't go anywhere without having to stop and talk to bloody people. I don't like people much, always want something off you. Neutral

It's no just me is it?

That T-shirt might just do the trick..

Old dears are the worst at times, keep you there for ages talking about their daughters daughter, the old days, and cat food.

It used to be homeless people that would take a walk with me lol, never asked for money just talked. Laughing (never got any money either, that's how tight I am)

I seem to get this a fair bit, although I don't mind. I was in town yesterday and saw a lady ask for directions from a random stranger, I think where the nearest chippy was as it happens.

The random strangers pointed them in entirely the wrong direction Confused I felt pretty bad for the lady and so quickly caught up with her and pointed her in the right direction. I demand good karma or something Thumbs Up Karma (was definitely the best chippy in town as well)

I assume you give the people detailed answers? I always make an effort to help people who ask, even if I don't have any idea about what they're asking I will always give them an answer.

I hope the bloke who got on the train at the weekend, expecting to go to Slough as he'd asked me if the train goes to Slough, wasn't too disappointed when it took him straight to London Paddington. Laughing Fool, if you'd bothered to look at the display screens that tell you where the train goes then you'd have known that it didn't go to Slough. Luckily when the train was pulling out the station there would have been the announcement saying where the train was going, not Slough and at that point it would have been too late. Laughing

A good few years ago, some pub/restaurant had a very similar phone number to my parents house, every so often someone would call asking to book a table so if I answered the phone I'd take their booking. How many people, what time, thank you sir, we'll see you then. Very Happy

It might be worth you removing that station masters uniform when you leave your job, otherwise this could carry on happening an awful lot to you! Laughing

Dear Kev,

When spreading peanut butter on toast, is it better to put butter on first or not have any butter at all?

Neil- I'd opt for the no-nonsense no butter approach. Thumbs Up

Skudd- Peanut butter on toast. It's the obvious choice. Thumbs Up

Bazza- Your keys are probably where you left them Thumbs Up

Pat- You've got it back to front.. although that look might just work coupled with the "CUNT" T-shirt Thinking
