i have a computer with a lot of restriction but ive been in the group property editor to change these so now i have access to the wireless network controls. i can logon to my wireless at home and load up IE and get online. thats fine. but when im at work ill open a wireless network, put in the correct WEP key but it wont connect. i cant understand why the wireless at home works but others dont.

do some networks need to 'allow' me to logon to the network or is it as simple as you have the right key, so you got access??

When you say "it will not connect" do you mean you cannot access the internet?

i think one network it will connect but says its cannot find anything from the internet, the other network it will take ages trying to connect then give up. both of these networks i have the correct WEP keys for
