Well, on my commute in to work this morning had a close call, white van man at a junction waiting to pull out, I saw him and had a bad feeling even though I could clearly see him looking directly at me so eased off a bit even though I was only doing 30mph, anyway he waited till I was virtually on top of him then pulled out, I managed to hit the anchors without anything locking up and get round him then stop. Getting ready to get off and have a right go at him when a guy that was on a fazer and and another guy on a honda that were behind me stopped by the van and proceeded to give this guy one hell of an ear bashing, must of scared the shit out of him cause he wouldnt wind his window down and then shot off as soon as he saw a gap Laughing guys on bikes then pulled up to me, asked if I was ok which I replied yes and thanks they gave me a thumbs up and went on their way. So if you guys are reading this a big thank you from me for your support on the mile end road this morning at about 07:20.
Bikers watching out for each other, dont get any better than that.

Similar thing happened to me on the Brighton Burn Up.

Was happily riding down the M25 (if that's possible) when a BMW 4x4 comes belting up on my right then swerves into my lane next to me. I hit the brakes (with a pillion...ouch!) and beep my pathetic horn and he moves back into his lane. His passenger then looks at me and then he just moves straight into my lane and down the slip road, missing me by a few inches.

Because it was the Brighton Burn Up there were loads of bikers around and all I could hear were horns going off everywhere and bikers giving the driver 'hand gestures' was probably quite funny to watch to an outsider, not so much for me. Laughing

I imagine that if he hadn't left the motorway then he might have gotten a few dents in his side panels. Razz Laughing

I'm going to buy that Batman body armour (look for the thread) and the Batman helmet I saw in local dealers yesterday.
Then I'm going to just prowl around on my bike (will get it painted Matt Black first) and wait to deal out some vigilante biker justice.

I always found that the truckers were really friendly to bikers (hoping for some bum fun in the cab maybe?)

A few times on my 125 after almost being made into a jar of jam by folk (generally 4x4's or vans), a bloke in a truck would pull up and start going mad at them, ask me if i'm ok and then go on his merry way. Even had one guy in a truck give this guy in an audi 4x4 thing a good punch Laughing

Since i got a big bike (whether it was the bandit or my DRZ), people seem to leave me alone and have a rather amusing look of fear in their faces if they piss me off. Full leathers, black visor and me being over 6' must be a scary sight for them, especially if i am VERY pissed off Razz
