 |
|
Bike is a motorhispania rx50. Bascially the same engine as rs50. grp 50 etc.
2003 is the year but the engine is not original and I am unsure of the year of the engine.
My problem was discovered when refitting the clutch cable. No matter how I adjusted the cable, it was too long, so I pulled the level going into the engine which disengages the clutch.
It moved quite a lot and actually came fully out. I have attatched a picture of it. Red line is casing of the engine, and the top bit is the little arm that the cable attatches to.
The top of this "arm" is splined so you can move the arm around for adjustment. I have done and it works now, albeit very stiff and as I pull the clutch lever this whole rod raises a few mm.
I want to know what is wrong basically. If anyone has an exploded parts diagram for this engine I would be very greatful.
I know there are various versions of this engine. Some little info to help identify it. Clutch "arm" is on the opposite side of the engine to the clutch so it must have some sort of pushrod going through.
Starter motor is underneath the flywheel right at the front of the engine.
The cylinder is rounded not square style like some.
No kickstart.
