If you do A1 you will be restricted to 125cc 14.6bhp permanently. Pretty much CBT but without the L-Plates and can take a pillion.

I started on a honda MTX 125, it was bullet proof apart from the exhaust snapping an inch off the manifold.

I did previously own 2 scooters but these cannot be considered to be "Bikes"

To be honest I've been trying to forget my first bike. Unfortunately I think I still have one photo of the thing somewhere around here... ah yes, this is the picture I took as I had just stepped off of the bike from riding it for the very last time (engine was entirely screwed). Behold the £500 brand new chinese lifan 125 I rode to death for 9 months!

ms51ves3: why does it need 500 miles? Are you teaching it how to be a piston?

My first ride was a 1971 Mobylette......

Got given to my dad for free years and years back.

We were all really pleased when it passed its MOT after we rebuilt it and made it work again.....

No tax either as it was " historic", thats certainly one way to put it.

Always got me home tho, once I got back from the then gf's house to find the top screw on the carb had fell off and the slides were hanging out, I still don't know how it got me home....

I love the fact you think a 50cc's handling abilities are something to advertise. Thumbs Up
