Are ramp to ramp jump heights recorded as the distance from the ground? Because if so this seems fairly pointless as I just need to make a ramp 317ft high and jump across an air gap of a bike length to beat the record... Confused

I was convinced he had messed up the ended judging by the noise that thing made when it hit the other ramp! Heart was in my mouth. It's a shame there isn't any closer up footage of that moment, it was epic!

Looks like he had a bit of a cross wind when he done that jump... kinda scary times in the air....

No matter how many times i watch that Robbie Maddison clip it amazes me every time.

That's just crazy. Something i could never do.
I'd keep thinking what would happen if i missed the other ramp by an inch.. lol

The second one too where he goes back down. No chance!
They'd be needing shovels to pick me up if i missed.

Probably not, it's a much larger and heavier bike. Harder to balance and control. Has the wrong suspension too.
