Hello folks. I've passed my theory test and I'm planning to do the road test this autumn.

I know it might be a silly question but do they do the road testing in pretty much any weather?

Cheers.

Yes. They do testing in any weather. If you can't ride safely in the rain there's not much point on being on the road (it can start raining anywhere at any time).

Good luck Thumbs Up

Fair enough. Thanks for your speedy responses. I need to be less of a fairy and get out more in the wet. I've got my first lesson next week - I imagine this lovely dry weather will be finished by then!

Cheers.

It takes a lot to cancel a test here in Kent. When I did my CBT it was the hottest day of the year so I didn't have to worry about rain.

I took my test in the rain. It was febuary this year and it had flooded some roads on the test route. So he made a new route.

But then this puts the 2 hours i had been riding the test route the at the weekend before my test out the window. Rolling Eyes

But i got there in the end.

But if its not possible to ride the will not do the test, ie if its 2ft of snow or its flooded everywhere. Thumbs Up

Did my test in pouring rain, first time I had ridden in rain.

Was so bad that the examiner was using his car that day Shocked

After he told me I had passed, he asked if I had deliberately kept a car between me and him for 90% of the test Wink Angelic
