Rice wine, the shit your meant to use for cooking but those wacky chinese over there use it as a normal drink. my friend whenever he goes home to china comes back with a few bottles of the proper stuff and its fucking leathal. i drink a lot of weird stuff and mix stuff together and im generally not too bad. this stuff is god awful, im not kidding you will never find anything more foul smelling and crap tastin drink.

then of course theres the after affect, you only need two shots, maybe 3 for it to get you smashed as fermented rice fucks you up badly. if you want a cheapo example buy some cooking rice wine and drink some of it, it wont be as bad but you will get the general idea.

i gladly drank double absynth shots to avoid a single rice wine one.

List of worst drinks are

1.Rice wine
2.a 85% ish vodka which also had a label stating that it can be used for treating cuts and used in medicine
3.absynth
4.black rum
5. some crazy italian shot that aids digestion, i can only assume aids mean vomit the food back up.

for normal drinks biddendens cider is pretty potent, at 13% two pints will get you pretty plastered but they are pretty pricey but when your getting twice the ammount of alcahol it evens out.

although the most fucked up drink i had was at my grans 95th bday, basically i was the most sober after hours of drinking so my cousin made me a pint containg the following

Jack Daniels
Famous grouse
kiwi vodka
captain morgans rum
tequila
and 7up to give it some bubbles and make it taste somewhat tollerable. at first i could barely sip it, after 10 mins i got to about 1/4 through it then i started to not taste it as much and after another 5 or so minutes i was fucked

I've never had memory loss.

Quite a few mates (girls and guys) get it quite often, sometimes when they're not even that wasted.

I would be terrified by the notion that there was blank hours I couldnt remember, yet they seem to view it as normal

EDIT: Damz do you mean an aperitif?

My friend has 90% ABV shit from Italy thats that sort of thing. One drop feels like someones take a blowtorch to your mouth. We got some guy do take two slugs of it. You should have seen the look on his face after a 5 second delay.... Cue retching and head down toilet time..

I beleive it may have been that, tasted fucking awful, however i'd glady drink that over the other stuff.

ive only had it twice, and both times it was with the rum, hence why i wont drink it again as like you the thought of the memory loss is veru scary, i lost about 1.5 hours of the night that are just not there at all, although my friends did have pleasure in telling me what i got up to!

Alcohol as a unit has the same affect, One pint of Cider at 7.5% is the same as 2 pints of bitter at 4% etc, but red wine give me acid indigestion, beer tastes crap, gives me the shits and I don't like whisky. Sherry/port are nice, mixing drinks doesn't affect me, it is the unit intake total that does it.

no alc gets me hammered after a couple (i dont drink much anymore but used to play a lot of drinking games with absynth - otherwise known as the party killer due to its effects on the uninitiated Very Happy) but there is one i wont touch.. sambuca.

not actually sambuca that did it but any aniseed drinks. basically on my 21st me and my best m8 polished off a bottle of aniseed aftershock between us hrs before the houseparty was due to start. i was very ill, went home, puked up many times and went to sleep. still made it back to my party though Very Happy

but since then, aniseed drinks make me wretch Sad

if i had to say another id say white wine (dont drink red) as i get rotten if i get drunk on wine. good thing is unless its a really good one i wont touch it but thats a blessing and a curse as you'd only get really nice wine at certain very special occassions and thats not the time to get rotten drunk!

Round at a mate's house and he cracked open a bottle of Frosty Jack super strong white cider. I don't think that stuff has ever been introduced to an apple. It's foul and gives a horrible aftertaste.
I'd rather enjoy a nice pint that tastes nice than a get me pissed quick drink.
Must be age catching up with me.

Plus Vodka always makes me spew Sick

There isn't a drink that makes me drunk easily, I seem to have a fairly high tolerance to any alcohol but I cannot go near Southern Comfort, for the usual reason of having puked on it once and it tasted and smelt exactly the same coming up as it did going down. My brain now does the Southern Comfort/Vomit association thing and I can't even smell the stuff without getting watery mouth syndrome.

Anything else and I'm there, with the exception of Port because I just don't like the taste.

Cheers

Yeah Sambuca is rank.
If i have some of that after a few beers i 'switch off'.
I remember at my first proper job i went out with the people on a night out and ended up in a club drinking sambuca. Id never had it before, a girl brought me two over. I had the two and that was that. I remember coming back around in my mates car, taking me home. I had terrible blurred vision, i couldnt talk properly and then had a horrible realisation my trousers were wet. "Have i fucking pissed myself....is that why im being taken home??" Was my first thought.
I thanked my mate without saying much else, went indoors and after the weekend i went into work expecting some serious flak.
Apparently i was enjoying myself dancing with 4 girls and they were enjoying putting ice cubes down my trousers.....oh god was i happy about that! Laughing

Port. Absolutely love the stuff, but my left shoulder always goes numb when I have it. Doesn't happen with any other drink.

Newcastle Brown Ale. Like the taste, but it comes straight out of my arse again within 5 minutes. Best constipation relief I know.

I haven't had a drink in years so I'm betting even a half a shandy wouldn't agree with me at the moment.

The only time I've ever been reduced to a vomiting fountain of multicoloured liquids was one night spent in the local rock night club. They used to serve red witches and green monsters which were girly as hell but you could drink vats of the stuff. I remember stepping outside after happily moshing away for hours with no ill effect and the fresh air hitting me like a sledge hammer. I woke up next morning asleep on the toilet floor with no idea how I got home to this day. I was very very ill for a week.

Red Witch:
1 measure of pernod
1 measure of vodka
dash of black current cordial
half a cider

Green Monster:
Double measure of blue curacao
half a cider
half a lager

There isn't a drink I won't drink. A normal night for me is stella and brown ale. Then a few gins with a dash of lime cordial. Then some mohitos as a break. A few fishbowls between a few of us. Then back on the bottles of lager. I drink everything. Everything other than vk,wkd etc etc them girly drinks. Not because they are girly drinks. But because they taste shit and i'm allergic to them and i stop breathing. Which has made for a few good nights out.

Rough cider....

I mean the proper cloudy strong stuff that you get in a plastic gallon can from cider farms.
Apart from the fact it makes all the rivets fall outta my face, it goes through me like a dose of salts where i would need to wear a nappy whilst drinking it.

Hi

Drink so little these days that anything has a major effect.

That said most cider makes me fart like crazy. And even the smell of dark rum makes me feel sick (following a bet many years ago to drink a pint of guiness with a double dark rum in it within a minute which I succeeded in, but failed the second part that was to keep it down for 5 minutes). Vodka often gives me stomach ache. Whisky / whiskey will pretty much ensure a stinking headache the next day.

All the best

Keith
