Is it possible to discuss what racism is without becoming racist in the eyes of some people?

Yes, as long as you're accusing someone else of racism.

She's a tit! He is a comedian they skit everyone, fat thin black white you dont go to a comedian and then turn round and go ohhh i am offended.

I went to one with my mate who is black, he went to get the beer in and as he comes back in the show had already started. You couldnt really see him coming out the shadows and the comedian shouts, holy shit it the black ninja coming out the shadows. He was laughing his head off.

She is just having an eppy for no reason, stupid cow. The worlds gone racism mad. We use to have a person who worked at my work who was black. Once i was asked who this person was, I was like erm they are 5ft, brown hair, erm erm, and I felt I couldnt say they where black. I spoke to the person about it later, they said you should have just said the brown one over there with dreads. But I couldnt! even though I am not racist I felt like that was as I wouldnt say oh that white guy over there would I so its soooo hard!!

But still, that woman is just plain stupid!

I know it's already been mentioned that she's a plant, but it doesn't seem to be penetrating.

D'you know what? I think outrage must be an enjoyable sensation. People must LOVE feeling outraged.

It's impossible to tell but when he's saying the joke, it does look like he's looking in the direction of the woman which is why i think she reacted. (if it's real) So it's almost as if he's asking the lady if she's Indian or Pakistani. Maybe..

Anyone who is even mildly offended by racist or sexist jokes shouldn't go to a comedy show.
People say you're racist for saying "the black guy" when talking about someone.
I think that's pretty fucking normal if there is only one black man in a group of 10. If there was only one white we'd say the white one and I'm sure not a soul would complain.

In this show, I staged a racist argument between two plants in the audience – an Indian actress (Sajeela Kershi) and her partner (Steve McNeal) – and me, simultaneously satirising hypocrisy and bigotry.
