I've been thinkin lately that am sick of my surroundings, the only things i like is my job and my family but even they grate sometimes,
I was watching miami ink the other day and it was the one with tim hendricks.
Basically he travels and when money drops, he finds work where ever possible, but he never stays in one place for long, seems kinda cool to me, nothin holdin you go were you want an learn so much.

Problem is, how do you manage it? there must be a language barrier every time he packs up an moves else where, if i did it i'd be kinda screwed with all my meds, hmmm.

Whats your thoughts on this? Ever thought about it yourself? Know anyone who has done it?

You could work bars etc, but you'd need savings for when there was no income. Must be nice to be able to tattoo people (or whatever) and charge what you want when the funds are shrinking. TH has a great life style. Cool

Hmm, sitting on 1k right now, im just fed up of being around here, just dont want to live an die here, its shit.
I wouldnt mind if it was full of great ppl, but even the ones i kno i somehow manage to upset them and the like. Startin all fresh somewhere else just sounds so appealing, and traveling alone would be a great convo starter.
So i take it no ones ever thought about doin this? Laughing

If you really wanna do it, sell absolutely everything, save up for 2 months, buy a flight and then just go. Figure out how "sparse" you can be with your meds (consult someone) and see if you can stock up.

You'll never do it if you dont...do it.

Look, if you are fit enough, reasonably intelligent and have a wee bit of savvy, then just get out there and do it.

Guess what? This shitty little island will still be here in 5/10 years time.

If I hadn't spent so long touring the planet with the navy, I would have done just that.

Language isn't a problem if you have the right attitude.

18 countries, 8.5 months, Australia to England on a CT110.
