Has anyone used brake pads made by Carbone Lorraine, in particular their SBK3 or SBK5, sintered HH pads? I am thinking about trying some on the front of my R6 and they seem to have reasonable reviews on the internet, but has anyone tried them in the real world?

I like them. Have used them back to back with EBC HH on an early R6 and I'd say they're a little better. Slightly better initial bite and overall force.
The HH were partly worn at this point, so not entirely a fair test.
That was on track, but also used them on the road and liked them.

I had them on my hornet, they were fine for the track but took a lot of warming up on the road. On cold days they would never warm up and I found myself having to pull very hard to stop, despite new fluid and a good caliper clean at time of fitting!
