What do you buy a biking fanatic for Christmas?

There's no point buying them a helmet or gloves because they won't fit. There's no point getting them a bike because chances are they already have one.

Does anyone have any good suggestions? Otherwise I'm going to have to buy my friend Clive a cat calendar...

You're the Communications manager at Ghostbikes which happens to sell biking stuff and you don't know? Thinking I think I'm getting overly paranoid about spam.

Also if you consider buying your friends a bike will you be my friend too Very Happy

I have 5, I certainly wouldn't dislike another bike as a christmas present!

Find out what size they are in helmets/gloves then it will fit? I'm gonna be buying a new helmet, jacket and boots as a present for someone this christmas, just make sure you know the sizes! (will probably be buying them from ghostbikes tbh Laughing )

Hi guys,

Cheers for the advice.

I'm not spamming you - my job isn't to throw adverts around.

I'm a biking novice and I want to know more - partly for my job because I want to understand what it is you bikers don't want and do want (I already know that no one likes spam!) and partly because a couple of my friends are really into it and I don't want to feel like I'm doing a job they should be doing!

So far for Christmas I'm thinking maybe vouchers or a subscription - that's a good idea. I don't want to ask him what jacket size he is because it's supposed to be a surprise...

Can't you just have a sneaky peek at his jacket or helmet or something, then you'll know the size. But a subscription would be good, or vouchers then you can choose your own stuff. Good luck.

Hi

Without knowing the individual it is difficult to know. Ie, some might really appreciate one of the Halfords Pro tool kits, while for someone with a large Snap On kit it would be a waste. Probably same for heated grips to someone who just does track days.

All the best

Keith

I remember when Harley davidson brought out a range of after shave, late 80,s or early 90's I don't think it was offical harley merchandise, But who cares it smelt like cat piss and because i love motorbikes everybody assumed i would love it.
A couple of hours later during xmas dinner relatives who actually bought me the stuff was asking where the funny smell was coming from.
So a warning to partners friends and family just because it has a bike on the bottle it won't make him ride any faster and may just make him smell like a ferrets bell-end.
