Best Guitar hero?

Just been reading on Amazon about guitar hero's.
What is the best guitar hero in your opinions and why....i have the guitar but no game.
I was looking at greatest hits but it seems that isn't quite what it seems??

Depends on what music you like. Go through all of them (on Wikipedia) and check out the track lists. I prefer number 3 myself

Three was definitely the best. I got sooo addicted to that game. Got pretty damn good too until I sold it to save my life.

Guitar Hero: Metallica is the only one worth playing, not just because it is Metallica based, just because its the only one that feels right, that isn't ridiculously complicated on higher levels on drums, and it is the most fun to play! I have everything the two franchises have ever brought out (except Beatles, why would I waste my time on that nonsense?) and Metallica pwns them all.

Even better now I am using my Roland TD-3 as my GH drumset, takes a little getting used to but so much better (as I have gone through 4 drumsets somehow and everyone has something wrong with it!)

I went through 2 guitars when I bought Metallica

First one would only strum downwards
Second was DOA

Third was perfect. Surprising a fourth came a week later Sold that on the 'bay for 20 quid.

5 Has the best setlist.

Get 5, Buy GHWT, Greatest Hits and Metallica, pay a little to import the tracks, sell them all on.

Then you have basically all the best songs in one game.
