i think he wants a cg engine in an nsr frame...
dunno about you but in my opinion that would suck.
Just use the NSR as it is, or CG as it is, no point pissing around for 4 weeks Razz

Hi

Very much doubt the engine mounts are the same, and even less likely the electrics would be easy to connect up. Add in the cost of getting spacers made up, suitable sprocket for the CG engine to match up with the NS back wheel, exhaust, etc.

While it is probably possible is would alsmost certainly be a lot cheaper and easier to buy several spare decent NS engines.

All the best

Keith

Just slap the NS reg plate on your CG for a few weeks. And don't be a cock on it.

You have managed to wire up a CG ignition system (cdi and all) along with the regulator / rectifier to the NS loom?

just the mounts i think are the same

Pretty unlikely to be honest. From memory even the MBX125 engine (the predecessor to the NS) which had a fairly similar engine would need different size spacers for the engine mounts than an NS.

I would also expect the CG engine to be quite a bit taller.

All the best

Surely if you have done the electrics you would be more than able to work out where the engine mounts are on both bikes...
