......british actors who have to put on a (bad) American accent in films, this new film coming out for example with Ewan McGreggor in it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVKi3z1NXF8 would be great if they just allowed him to speak in Scottish accent... It ruins films....

Other prime examples include: Wanted (James McEvoy)

Arrow Or americans trying to speak in an english accent:
Arrow The black dude from Oceans 11,12,13
Arrow Arnold Swarzabobble in every film he's done.

Just annoys me when they get it sooo wrong... Mel Gibson did well though in Braveheart although it wasn't perfect.

May just be me that get's frustrated with them...Can you think of any other unbearable examples you can think of?

Just off topic...any film where they break into song is an absolute No no too.!!!

Hugh Laurie doing an American accent in House is not bad, despite not really sounding like anywhere in particular.

The most annoying are English actors overacting the English accent in American films. Take any British actor appearing on Friends, or any Hugh Grant film. Tally ho chaps.

Sean Connery & Christopher Lambert in Highlander - Scot Connery is a japanese spaniard, Swiss* Lambert is a Scot.
