...you're ever tempted, I heartily recommend you don't try catching a squirrel in your teeth whilst doing 50mph on a country lane. It hurts. A lot.

This public service announcement has been brought to you by someone with a very painful neck.

You got it all wrong mate. You don't use teeth to catch a squirrel, you use your nuts Razz

I didn't crash. It wasn't poor obs Wali, it was obviously a highly trained ninja death squirrel. It failed to match up to my skillz however.

Or it fell out of a tree above the road.

Now THAT is unlucky. I don't imagine squirrel's fall out of trees often and to do it front of you is a one in a million shot.

These are troubling economic times for all of us...perhaps it was depressed?

More along the lines of plummeting than flying unless it was trying for a power dive. Does bouncing count?

Tommy, I narrowly missed being hit by a spare wheel that had come off the edge of a raised section of the M6 a few years ago. I was on the newly opened Heartlands Spine road. I'm a very lucky man. Just not always the luck I'd want.

There are no pictures, this probably means it never happened.

Admit it, that tonyts50 fellow is just your sockpuppet account, and you've grown bored of bullshitting in textspeak, right? Wink

Just out of a morbid sense of curiosity, were you moving at squirrel-exploding speeds, or did it merely bounce off your lid? The thought of pulling up at the next junction coated in squirrel innards would be enough to make me giggle for the rest of the day...

Isn't this Red Squirrel week?

Second Squirrel related incident I've heard about today. Maybe there is something to this.

Neck injuries best checked if in any doubt tho.

In your teeth? Open face lid I presume?

I got smacked by a pigeon the other week at around 50mph - felt like someone had punted a football into my chest at point blank range. Still coughing up feathers...
