Just fitted them, It seems... more powerful than it should... Confused

I mead its not as fast as full bhp. But faster than what i can remember 33bhp hornet was.

It revs to redline(12-13k). But not much grunt. I can remember it only reving to 7k. Confused ??

Its 6 seconds+ 0 to 60 tho.... More Confused Confused

I fitted them all. (correct to the best of my knowlage) But.. Confused

blades in everything back as it was Thumbs Up But more revs...

I put them in so the writing on them is horizontal. Ie as it would be read. the holes are pointing down... If that makes a diffrence...

Any help would be greatly apreciated. As you can probally tell im a bit Confused by this

best bet is to let someone who knows what they are talking about help you although, only thing I can think off is they are installed incorrectly somehow.

Hi, you say it feels more powerful than it should but how much experience do you have to compare? 0-60 won`t be affected much by restriction - 33bhp still has huge jump in power compared to a 125 if that`s all you`re used to. If it tops out at about 100mph then it`s working....or get it dyno`d to be sure......did you have detailed instructions?

Have you tried Hornet only websites for tips? Thumbs Up

Had it restricted for 2 months then full power for 5. How much are dyno sessions?

My r6 always revved all the way to the red line but there was no real power after 8000rpm whilst it was restricted. Only other thing you can do is go to a shop and ask them for a proof of restriction certificate. They'll check it and issue a certificate if its fitted correctly.

At a price of course

My 33bhp restricted bike was more powerful than I expected Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Thinking Thinking Thinking

But it does rev to 12k Thinking Thinking Thinking

Its powerband peaks at 7k Thinking

Plenty of torque but at 7k I expect a decent surge but it's simply not there ThinkingThinkingThinkingThinkingThinking

However I did try it derestricted and there wasn't much difference until peak power, when things really kicked in Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused

Ok checked things again. Nothings wrong. It must have been me.

Embarassed

33bhp tops at about 100 ish.

sounds right.

I re-restricted it as i kept feeling i being watched. I think i relised that i would much rather ride at 33 than walk.

Must mean im getting old. Sad

My time will come. Until then you can find me roundabout surfing. Cool

Thanks again BCF Thumbs Up Karma
