Just in case of an emergency, I want to get a cigarette lighter charger.
My question is;
https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390099982932
Would this thing work on my bike? My battery is 12v 8ah.

Or, is there a different product especially designed for motorbikes you can advice me?

Thank you.

Assuming you have a socket like that on your bike it should get it going in an emergency.

You'd be better looking at a low rate charger such a the Optimate really.
If your battery gets too low to turn the engine, chemical changes are occurring which reduce it's charge holding ability.
It's a vicious cycle which means you'll need a new one sooner.

Bike batteries typically should not be charged at a rate of more than 1.5watts - you can get away with occasional higher boosts.

Can't see the point on a bike as they are easy to bump start....

Biggest failing i can see with that product is that you not use it that often, that when you do need it, its battery is flat.

With a price of at least £30 you could buy a decent charger and have change. Just in case you ever need to charge the battery.

My bike is a burgman 400. So, I can't bump start it..
Burgmans have cigarette lighter socket which would be very practical to jump start. If I had something relevant..
