Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone knows of a supplier that will source Yamaha OEM bits by their equivalent numbers in a bike's parts list, then I can just send them an order based on a list from it. I'm having trouble finding simple things like a new front brake hose and an engine o ring oil seal that is part of that cover you unscrew on the side of the crank case, as well as the sprung sealing washer on the engine oil bolt. Or are these just generic parts that I just need to know the exact sizing of?

Cheers,

Neil.

Cheers for that, not sure if they do current parts though - from the looks of it they do bits for older/vintage machines. I'll drop them an email.

For stuff like O rings and sump seals just take the old ones down to your local car part palce and pick some up there....
All tend to be standard size. And will be a lot cheaper.

As to your brake hose. Just google "brake hose replacement" plenty of manufactures come up, who should be able to supply what you need.

Come on, don't be shy... Tell us what bike it is Wink

Thanks for the reply, iooi. It's an '06 Yamaha YBR125. I've googled all over for specific components, only found a few places selling parts for this bike but none of them do brake hoses or the other piddly bits I mentioned, although a lot of other stuff is readily available. I'm a bit scared of taking the bike apart and not being able to source bits locally, leaving it sitting in the garage, as it's my only transport and I have to do a 30 mile commute on weekdays, can't afford the train fare, so I can't really be without it. Thumbs Up

Fantastic, do you take part numbers direct from the parts catalogue, so I can just spout off a shopping list? Or even better, can I email a list of bits/part numbers I need to them and pay via paypal or something, whatever is easier for you guys?

BTW, it's not spam as it's advertising that has kinda been 'asked for' Mr. Green

Many thanks. Thumbs Up
