Hi,
Can i just appolgise for the following rant... Smile

Was riding with my good mate, both on 125's in heavy rain. We both had our lights on, and were riding within the speed limit. I was in front as we rounded a sweeping bend. As we come out of the bend and straightened up, we approached a junction on the left. A lupo come up to the give way line, stopped, looked, then continued to pull out in front of me, THEN not accelerate past 20!! I had to brake really sharply, and of course being wet, i locked the back. Needless to say, he got a blast on the airhorns and i overtook giiving him some interesting hand gestures ( Middle Finger ) and cut in really close to give him a feeling of braking in the wet. (stupid i know)
Its really shock me up, ive been riding for 3 years now, and its kinda put me off. I was quite close to hitting the rear of the car Sad Ive got to go on the same road tommorow, and no doubt it will be wet Confused
Rant over. Sorry, theres probably 100's of these types of post.

Don't let it put you off.
One piece of advice I've never seen given on here, because AFAIK I'm the only one who does it, is the spazzy-face.
BCFers tend to retaliate via the middle finger, a quiet word, kicking off wing mirrors or the classic making "hand gestures suggesting that all the offenders orgasms take place in private."
Not I! No, I don't wish to incite further road rage, so instead I toot the horn and display the spazzy face. I've only done this twice, both early in January, and given my full face helmet, the offenders only saw the "spazzy-eyes" (cock-eyed is what I do best), but I could tell by their shamed reactions that they knew the full spazzy face was being issued.

From then on, I and the bicycle feelings deeper.

I wouldn't. I shook my head at a guy once and he chased me in a van. He even got out at the lights to have words with me but the lights turned green. He chased me again. Filtering rocks. Laughing

shit like this happens mate. i came off in the wet going round a tight right hander when i was blinded by some cunt in a beemer. for a while i wouldn't ride on that road (unlit country road) but then after a while it became a challenge to take it quicker and quicker, conquering fear. after all, you have to be a bit courageous to ride a motorbike, specially with all the numptys on the road nowadays.
