Hi

Well after two years of riding a moped I finally did it Very Happy

Went out and bought a YBR125. Think I got a good deal
2007 YBR125 on a 57 plate
Paid 995
Best of all its only done 1100 miles Cool

Only real bad point is that previous owner dropped it Rolling Eyes , the surround on the clocks is a little cracked, and there is a small scuff on the headlight.

But I cant ride it just yet Wink as im waiting for my insurance docs to come through so i can tax it Sad

Im just so made up about it at the minute that I wanted to tell the world. Mr. Green
Will post up pics tomorrow when I work out how to Confused

On a side note, I was just wondering if you could recommend any products which will keep it looking and running like new. And if any body else has one where did you mount your front l-plate as i dont particularly like the ones that bolts onto the fork.

Thanks Dan

Scottoiler FS365 if you wash it frequently, ACF50 if you just hose it down or simply don't wash it. Both work absolute wonders.

Who are you insured with? If they have a high street branch you can pop in and get a copy of your policy. Failing that they can fax it to you or email it.

As long as you have a policy number you should be ok to go the post office and its all good.

/me waits to be corrected.

I have always rode without tax if I haven't got the docs. I can't see a problem with it when the tax always starts at the start of the month.

My front L plate is mounted on the clocks with velcro, the plate was warmed and curved to fit, i will post a pic tonight for you. Its kinda like a mini screen lols. The velcro is the sticky sided stuff.

Thanks for replies, sorry havent had a chance to get any decent pics today as its rained pretty much all day Sad

Will definitely look into the scottoiler, thanks for the recommendation.

Cant remember the company to be honest but went through express insurance broker, they were the cheapest i could find with good cover options.

I was actually thinking of doing something along those lines probably just drill in to the clocks and screw it on though or maybe make a bracket and fix it to the underside of the clocks.

Also a possibility, was going to be my last resort really.

thanks
