Hey everyone, picked this up on Saturday, rather pleased to be honest I wanted something bigger for the winter months.

It's gone back in today to have a fork seal done and fresh brake fluid on the front.

Its in remarkably good condition apart from a couple of little chips in the tank and a scrape on the rh engine cover.

Very Happy Very Happy

Don't drop it down 3 gears at a time to get that sliding squeal, and don't rev to redline at standstill in first and dump the clutch. This is how I killed my gs muckaround I got for 250 quid.

However you can get elbow down on them, and they handle brilliantly if you don't mind a bit of skittery front end with no feedback. Seriously show up sports bike riders very easily.

i'm wanting another gs500, theyre amazingly fun little bikes and they'll go on for 60000miles+ with just regular servicing.

They make an excellent base for mods as well and although it wasn't a true streetfighter i modified one quite heavily to become a "Café fighter"
