I'm suffering more from the tonsillitis than from the grazed knee

I went to the Dr on Tuesday as i thought i had tonsillitis, she said that as i didn't have white spots on my tonsils it wasn't tonsillitis and she wasn't willing to give me antibiotics.

She said it was prob just a viral thing and to go gargle salt water, i havn't eaten properly since Monday and have lost nearly half a stone in weight.

Hope your Dr is better then mine.

I've had tonsilitis twice, the first time I do what I always do and just ignored it and figured i'd fight it off myself, 2 weeks later I still couldn't swallow and gave in, antibiotics cleared it up in 3 or 4 days.

I got it again a couple of years later, took me 3 days of the same impossible to swallow throat to go docs and self diagnose, he didn't even check just handed over the prescription. Go see her again.
