Old 12bore Shotgun parts still available?

Basicly clearing out my late grandfathers shed, ive put together some parts, to make a 12guage side by side, (non firing obviosly)

Im currently looking for parts
Trigger mech
Breaker lever.
maybe even a Blank stock, not so sure if i can make do with these.

Now the markings on this thing isnt clear, all i can make out on the barrel is..

"J.W.B Lantern priory Gun works Birmingham"

if anyone can help, point me in the right direction of some one who can help that would be great.

You could run into some pretty sticky legal problems here.

Mostly to do with at what stage does a collection of parts become a working shotgun. The absence of proof marks showing it's deactivated could leave you in a sticky wicket.

From what you describe as needing, I'd say there is a fair chance it's fireable anyway on the assumption it's a hammer gun (ie, barrels, breech and hammers. Flick that hammer, gun goes bang.)

If I removed the firing pin from a rifle bolt, it is technically non-firing but you can bet your life a judge would take a very dim view of me having it without either a firearms certificate or a proof house mark.

We still have a gunmakers quarter in Brum but it is much smaller than previously. A firm such as William Powellshould be able to advise. Guns are not cheap and tend to be hand made to suit the costomer and it is not unusual to pay £10K for a pair.
A walnut stock blank will cost you £500 before you even think about having it shaped blank.
If you thought Japanese bikes were expensive keep away from English sporting guns.

None firing in the sence.... Wink wink, none firing, i will be seeing what i can do with it then obtaining a shotgun licence for my local range.

Also forgot to add, it does have a few stamp marks on it, not really sure what they are, ill try get some pictures.
