Hello. On saturday I just got myself my NC30 after I sold my NSR125 on this saturday with 1200(wicked price) and on my way home I picked up a RS125 in a shitty condition with a nackerd bottom end.The reason why I still have to ride a 125 is that I have to do my mod 2 which I failed last time, for being under the speed all the test(i was going with 50 in national speed limit). Now about the NC30,it has the NC35 front fairing with a single seat cowl, also the right rearset has snapped and i need one for the mot. I would like to change the back end because this one is like box lol,i`ve been looking at the tyga back end which is 286 quid but they ask for another 100 quid for delivery which i reckon is quite much.I have the restriction kit for it and I need to know where exactly it goes. And another question I have a smaller number plate, will it pass the MOT? I will upload some pictures very soon. Thanks

Looks like the engine idle adjuster.

Nice looking bike BTW! Thumbs Up

Mr Bash is correct, the item highlighted is the idle adjuster, nothing to do with a derestrictor.

Jap4 Performance stock Tyga rear seats, and might be marginally cheaper than Tyga direct - and faster delivery. A standard seat unit will be of similar size if you wanted to get rid of some of the 'boxiness', as they have a more sloping shape where the pillion seat is.

The plate looks an 8x6...whether it passes depends a lot on what mood your MOT tester might be in that day.

https://www.jap4performance.com/hondaNC30.html#tyga

At the top of the page, the seat unit is listed seperately for around £400. Not much cheaper than Tyga, but you're likely to get it sooner and without needing to pay import taxes.

If your headlights are OE RVF items, which I expect they are, as no one else makes headlights like those, the bulbs are easily accessible. Pull away the wire connector circled below, then the rubber cap that covers the back of the bulb. There should be a metal retaining pin that then lifts out the way and exposes the hole where you fit the main bulbs. These can be purchased from wemoto or even Ebay if you want.

As for the plate, it's up to you. Simple enough to have an online plate maker make you a new one if you're worried. A simple Google search will find a few motorcycle ones.

I think its looks good as is, it will cost alot of money to get one and then get it colour matched.

I`m not really worried about repainting and I think pretty soon you will se a project with my nc30 and a back end from a r6 or cbr 600 rr3.And I still dont have any place on the headlight for the dipped beam

As far as I recall, RVF headlights use one bulb in each lens. On the RVF, there is no switch to turn them off - only a switch to change between main and high beam. Has your switchgear been wired correctly, as NC30s usually have the option the run sidelights, main beam and high beam.
