AS the title says, I am looking for a good quality oil for my Honda CBF600 - what do you use?

Any 10w40 semi synthetic will be ok I use Heine gericke's oil it's good value

I use Rock Oil 10w 40 Semi synthetic. £5.50 per litre. I find it really good Smile

Used to use shell advance but made my honda gearbox a bit notchy,then tried castrol gps and stuck with it eversince.

That's what I use. I did use RockOil once, but can't say I noticed a difference between the two.

Infact, if anything, the bike ran quietest and gear shifts were less clunky when it had some nasty black old shit in it!

At the moment its Carlube 15w40 diesel oil sg rated and less than £3 a litre, runs qiueter and seems just as good, i just hange my oil every 1k.

It definately made the gearbox more clunky when the oil was warm,usually i would not notice but it was that bad.Switched to GPS and it was a lot better,the shell oil seemed very thin.

Hein Gericke 10W40 OR Halfords 10W40. Gericke one is cheaper, just need to find which one is available, that's all.

Like others, I currently use Hein Gericke semi - does the job and a good price for 'proper' bike oil!! Thumbs Up
