Hi all!

I havent been on here for a few months, but some of were really helpful re getting my bike resprayed...anyway some W$%KER has stolen my bike this morning and I completely gutted.

Right from outside my lounge window with a disc lock and immobiliser on, I know it need respraying but other than that it was my perfect/dream bike.

The police dont seem to care and there's a slim chance of getting it back!

I am bloody livid, how F£*KING dare they! And I doubt theres any chance in getting the money back for the Marchesini wheels, the end can or any of the other custom work done to the bike.

The worst thing is, it's probably in bits or in another country by now ARRGH! Evil or Very Mad

NO Crying or Very sad seriously, only a twat would trash/burn out that bike. It's got so many mods/extras, saying that it was prob some silly little chav who wont have a clue and prob crash it, espec if your heavy handed.

FWIW, I'm in Southampton, I'll keep an eye out in case it's an amateur. A mate of mine had a bike nicked and got it back, 3 days later with a whole 18 miles extra on it. The bloke who nicked it was caught just about to get on it, he hadn't even changed the plates Rolling Eyes

Cheers

Much appreciated! But if my hubbys right they stole it between 6-8am this morning which meant they new what they were doing and had been watching the house as it was the time between him going to work and me leaving the house Mad

I agree, should have known better than to leave it out. It's normally stored in the garage but not recently! going to keep an eye out for the extras on ebay over the next 12weeks (normally turn up after 8weeks, we police stop looking).

Just cant believe its gone, and more than likey gone for good!

it doesn't take 5 mins to steal a bike even if your pro or not, you can hot wire a bike in less than about 30- 1min with some decent training on bikes, hope you catch them before the police does so he gets whats coming to him

No offence but it's kind of your own fault if you have a garage but just left it outside anyway?

Plus, if it's insured as "in a locked garage" and it wasn't when it was stolen, they will be onto that and won't pay out?

Yer I know, I work in insurance. If they can find a way out of paying they will.

To be fair, it wasnt just left outside our garage is blocked with scaffolding at the mo so I couldnt put it in there if I wanted to, but I understand were your coming from Sad

Ah right, I thought you meant you could of put it in the garage but just left it outside like out of sheer laziness. Still badly shit having a bike stolen though no matter what happened.
