does anybody out there have any idea how to re-register a bike with no v5 and no number plate, i bought it as a project and am getting near to completion, so i thought register it, no f...... idea, oooops, i`ve asked the guy i bought off he said its been in bits for years, v5 probably got thrown away, as with the number plate and loads of other stuff that was missing, so how do i get it re-registered, no i`m pretty sure it was`nt stolen.
help please.

frame number...should be on there.
probably on headstock.

I may have a pre-SORN V5 lying around somewhere for a CB125TDC that was thrown off a cliff then blown up and set on fire for a B-movie some mates of mine made (I have video evidence). Obviously it would have a different frame number, but I'm sure you're a resourceful kind of guy who can gain access to an angle grinder and some number stamps.

answer to paswaxk88, yes frame no is there, but dvla and the police ca`nt put a reg plate to the frame no, i`ve written to hondauk to see if they have a date of registration, no reply as yet, as to stinkwheel it`s an avenue i pondered but a bit iffy lol, but thanks i might have to utilise that idea,

The Honda Owners Club UK are probably the people to speak to if you want to get an age related plate. They can usually do you a certificate stating the date of manufacture based on the chassis number (for a fee).
