Ride out this weekend - Buxton!!

This is all getting confusing as there are various posts relating to this. I didn't know which regional forum to post it in because the area in question borders the midlands and the north! It's neither here nor there!

So...Craig and I are off around Macc/Buxton area either Saturday 19th or Sunday 20th June and want to know who else is up for it.

Please let me know or I will give up hope on ever organising a ride out for the rest of my life!!

Looks like it's just you and me Craig. Either Saturday or Sunday are good for me, although I think I'd prefer to miss heavy shopping traffic around the towns which is more common on Saturdays. If we do go on Sunday, Mcjam will be joining us. I think.

It's nice and sunny here and now that my bike's engine is firmly in place with the correct number of bolts and the vibrations have stopped, I'm so tempted to go out on it today!!

Sounds good to me. I know the A34 well (travel that way everyday to work) and I know where Siddington is. However, how do I get to the lake?? Do I need to turn off the A34?

Well I doubt I can drag any of my mates from Manchester, cos they'll all be still pissed from drinking tonight and don't wake till about 4pm Laughing

And as for The lake, its kinda hard to explain where it is, there is a little road that you turn off, coming from congleton it would be on your right.

If you can't find it stop some where on the A34 and if you see a Red Suzuki GS500 wave to me and I'll stop!
