im on the roadside in a layby, fucking bike's buggered itself. Here's some pics, the bit that holds the brake caliper on is snapped off, need to get home and the back brake keeps locking itself every 5 metres.

where abouts are you stuck mate?

Try and take the pads out?

Open the resovoir and pour out the fluid, and leave the lid off? (Make sure you wash the bike when you get home)

^^^ yup, or use something to force the pads back and see if that stops them grabbing and binding?

Lift the calliper and the broken bit off the disc, tie it to the pillion peg, ride home carefully.

Make sure the part that is left on isn't going to trash anything if it spins round.

Cheers guys, home now. Got my own personal AA to come out (dad) with the spanners and we got the caliper off. Turns out a disc bolt had come loose and had been hitting the brace thing, which caused it to snap. Anyone any idea where to get a new bit?

And cheers to the guy who said the pics were impressive, I didn't know if i'd be able to upload from my phone but it worked alright, they're only little (250kb) pictures.

Hahaha, no it's an import! Looked on evilbay and I can get the mount and a caliper for £25 so not too much out of pocket
