When your ass is loose and baggy what to do?

Leather trousers are getting on for 2 years and still fit 75% or thereabouts except the ass and back of the legs as they are now a little loose fitting.

No rips, tears or stains.

Can you get them altered to be snug again or just live with it, run them into the ground and splash the cash next year? They do have large Kevlar stretch panels on the inner thighs so maybe a better site to alter?

I would be a little worried that if the leather has stretched, then altered and stretches again (as it would do) how vulnerable would my buns of steel be from road rash should the worse happen?

What have you done with your baggy bums?

My leather jeans are ancient...yet because my bum wasn't big enough to fill them in the first place, it hasn't stetched them at all.

Saying that though I had to buy blokes jeans because in womens kit you cannot be tall and skinny (only skinny and short, or tall and fat)...so they have been altered to fit me.

I do treat them with dubbin every so often, so not sure if this has helped keep them in fairly good nick!?!

I ordered my 2 piece off bigbikebook and they pants are baggy arse as well. It's doing my head in, I have to wear combats/jeans and a pair of shorts to fill them out ha.

I rang a company up locally who specialise in altering bike leathers and they quoted me something silly like £120 to alter them.

If it's any consolation most one pieces I've seen at places like Squires are very baggy in the arse* area once off the bike. It's a "I've just cr@pped myself" look. Not nice.

On topic I'm told if you get leather wet it'll shrink. Told to mist (one of those plant watering thingies) using warm (or was it hot? Confused

) water. I can't vouch for this though but thinking it'll do no harm. I guess the shrinking will also depend on the lining.
