Haven't been on here for AGES and am glad to see things haven't changed (have just wasted a very entertaining hour on a certain thread involving a 'totally scary' call centre chap!).

So, who's still here? I've seen Ste, Goose, Silver so far but does anyone else remember me + Andy? I've still got the silver SV650 and Andy's now got an SP1 - must be a v-twin thing...

Many are still floating around.

You old TZR is now back on the road, having managed to source a pair of slightly more tidy exhausts and some better fairings, and some original Yamaha indicators for it.

Hi

None recently. Could drag her out of the garage if you want though.

Should now be run in. Last time it was used was about 10 days ago when Charlotte rode it. That clocked up enough for finishing off the running in but I haven't ridden it since.

Full list of what has been done:-

Rebuild and cleaned up forks (burnished finish as they were originally rather than polished)
Rebuilt shock
Stripped and greased the linkages
Replaced the spacers under the clip ons.
Replaced gear lever
Rebuilt rear caliper and master cylinder
Replaced bodywork behind seat and the o/s side panel
Replaced front indicators
Currently running a master cylinder from an Aprilia AF1 (the brakes felt far too dead with the original m/c)
Rebored
Fitted the missing pipe for the powerjet on the r/h carb
Replaced air filter
Replaced fairing panel around the radiator
Replaced one fairing side panel.
Replaced the exhausts (twice.......fitted one set and then found a better set)

Few things still to do:-
Gear change is too lose and rattly
Chunk of o/s fairing panel missing
Could do with a respray when I am feeling rich
Spacers for mirror mounts seem wrong
Fairing bracket is still slightly bent
Clutch cable routing appears wrong.
New chain and sprockets floating round to fit soon.
