 |
|
Hey all,
I bought a new bike and a previous owner has put rim tape on it (and not very well) which I don't like and wanna get it off.
Has anyone got any tricks of the trade to get it off? 'Cos it sticks like buggery.
Thanks
(I tried searching but couldn't find anything...) ____________________ MKGaming.com

Try the good old method WD40 works a treat or cheap furniture polish, the cheaper the better (it’s the solvents that is used that breaks down the glue), plus leaves a thin film of wax on rims, much easier to clean. |

Peel it off, using a hair dryer to melt the adhesive if needed. Then a hairdryer and/or gaffa tape to get the rest of the adhesive off. ____________________ My Flickr |
