Snooze intervals

How long is the snooze interval set for on your alarm clock?

Mine is set to 7 because 5 is too frequent and annoying and 10 is too long. 7 is a nice balance.

Alarm is set to 6:17 so I get 4 snoozes before finally crawling out at 6:45.

I use 5 minutes, and snooze 3 times because I am lazy.

I don't use the snooze (its easier to turn my alarm clock off than it is to snooze) so i set my phone to go off 10 minutes later.

But, if i don't get up when my alarm clock goes off, i aint waking up for my phone so its kinda useless

Mines set for 5 minutes, original is set for 5am, if i'm good, 3 snoozes and i'm up, but usually its 5-6 snoozes before going 'shit, gonna be late'.

I use 2 phones for my wake up call, my blackberry is set 20 mins before i need to get up so thats 4 snoozes, then my iphone is set for 18 mins before i get up because for some stupid reason the snooze is set at 9 mins which cannot be changed ,

Gets complicated with snooze intervals when you've got 8 different alarms going off all closely timed.

Snooze alarms don't really work when you wake up to find that you're sleeping without a duvet because you've put all the alarm clocks in your duvet, wrapped them up then put it on the floor.

Someone needs to make the ultimate alarm clock. It would be the loudest alarm ever. Turning it off would involve pressing something in a different room. It would have pressure sensors under your mattress so that if would go off again if you went back to bed after turning the alarm off. It wouldn't have a snooze function. It would be mains operated but with (non removable) batteries to power it to prevent you unplugging it and then going back to bed. Once you set the alarm you would be unable to cancel or change it to prevent you deciding to turn the alarm off if you woke in the night.

The ultimate alarm, cos you're too fucking lazy to get out of bed for a normal alarm.

Where is the 'never' option. I don't do snooze. When the alarm goes off, I get up, as I have a very small window for getting up, dressed and breakfast before leaving for work. Sleep through or dithering too much will make me late. I cannot be late because I am in charge of opening the shop each morning.
