good evevning all

I have recently decided i want to go to on road rideing, after riding pitbikes from a young age. I thought maybe if i joined up you guys could tip me off on a good cheap bike to start on and cost of the tests im required to take

Hi

Stay away from the chinese bikes! But honda, suzuki, kawasaki etc tend to be very well built.

The tests, well, you'll need your theory, cbt, module one and module two.

The theory is around £31, cbt generally is £100+, module one is £10 and module two is £70 (I think, but I have heard its going up).

Instructors generally offer packages, some of which include the cbt. Locally to me, it is around £500 for three days training, including the test fees (module one and two).

Your theory and cbt is valid for two years, and your module one is valid until your theory runs out.

If your 21 or over, you have the option to do the direct access, but if your under this age then it has to be the A2 test which is on a 125cc where you will be restricted to 33bhp for two years after passing.
