 |
|
Just bought an iphone & already bored of it, i don't like any type of games & half the apps i won't use so i'm just left with a very expensive phone.
Have had 4 xbox 360's over the past year & sold them on because i usually set it all up, put on a game & within less then 5 minutes i'm bored of it & so list it up for sale. Then i'll buy another to give it another go but the same happens.
I bought an MR2 & had it for less then a month, bought another VW Golf, owned it less then 2 weeks.
When i had my motorbike, could only enjoy it for the first few minutes, after that i just wanted to go home.
Got a plasma TV that never gets turned on because i can't sit & relax.
So, anyone else like me that just gets bored of everything? Is it a condition?

ADHD?
Jesting aside I'm the same. When I went through my car phase I was changing every two months because none of them could hold my interest long. Stereo's, tv's and computers were exactly the same until I gave up trying to find my ideal setup as a lost cause and just settled for what I had.
The only things that really do keep my attention locked are my bike and a good book. ____________________ And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?

Interesting. The thing is tho, i want to enjoy all these things. I see all these new video games coming out & it annoys me that i can't sit down long enough to play them.
For me, the waiting process is where the excitement is. When i was saving for my MR2/Golf i couldn't wait to get it, when i did, all the excitement was lost later that day. |

How can you get bored of an i-phone as far as I was aware they were the best thing since sliced bread

I had a W995 for 2 weeks before I sold it.
I had 3 PS2's, 2 360's, lot's of HTC's, have had 25 motorbikes (usually lasting 2 months on average) and tend to move house a lot.
Yes, I get bored easy. |

My TLR Doesn't really get that boring as its a hard bike to ride fast.
Always keeping me on my toes when I'm riding it.
And my Pit bike is equally as amusing. I cant go out on it without somebody (Usually combat cars / hot hatches) trying to race me. To which they usually fail quite miserably.
Had a PS3, had an Xbox 360, Sold them both because I think games console are shit in general.
I am not into computer games, I am not a nerd, And I dont want to end up a fat, sad, lonely old man. |

A relative of mine has, for as long as I can remember, started a lot of conversations with "When I get my...". He's old beyond his time now, depressed, broke and an alcoholic. He's always thought that getting bigger, shinier toys would bring contentment.
Sad, really. ____________________ Chances are quite high you are not in my Monkeysphere, and I don't care about you. Don't take it personally.

I've always liked a change of scenery but I usually hang on to things a little longer than 5 minutes
Bikes usually about 6 months, cars some times less than that.
Never bothered with pishy consoles, games do nout for me.
Try different things rather than going back to the same old stuff all the time you might find something that 'sparks' your interest.
Most things are just shite and we don't really need them |

I'm exactly the same.
I spend all of my time looking for things that will entertain me, and waiting in excitement for them to arrive, then 5 mins later... bored. Like i can spend a week keeping myself entertained looking for the perfect SLR camera or something, until it arrives and i dont use it.
My bike is one of the few things i really enjoy, but like you i do get bored pretty sharpish when i go out on it, but i dont want to be bored because i like my bike if that makes sense.
I bought a force feedback wheel for the pc this week, couldnt wait, but got bored in less than a day; dont get me wrong its good, i just cant be arsed.
Tonight im buying a new car, no doubt the same will happen ____________________ 2004 Aprilia Tuono |
