Just cancelled my ebike insurance and not only was there a £50 cancellation fee (which was in their terms, but it still sucks) but I lost another £20 of my refund which was instead put in my eBike e-wallet - ie gone unless I go back to them.

Bloody shady.

eBike are shite, I was with them on my GPZ and the amount of cock ups.

I sent them my no claims, they emailed back saying they'd received it... 2 weeks down the line they gave me like 48 hours to send in my no claims as they had no reccolection of receiving it.

Plus they are an 'internet based company' and they take hours to reply to emails.

So if you want to ring it is like 1£ a minute!

Shambles!!!

I think im with E-bike - cant remember Neutral
But I had alot of trouble. Wanted my NCB form, which I sent - they never got - So I re-sent it.
Then they wanted me to sign a form for my alarm/locks which I did.
3rd week I got a letter saying they needed photo copys of my Card/Paper licence - and I had a week to send it off - So I did.
Dont know why they just didnt ask for it all at once.
I pay by DD and one month I had no funds - So I got a £20 fee.
Fair enough.
2nd Month they took the £20 fee but not the insurance money and told me I had failed to pay them Mad Even tho I had the funds.
So it got cancelled unless I payed then £60 a month for 3 months to clear it off.
CBA to set up a new insurance so just kept with this Thumbs Down

TBH, how many people are actually pleased with the service/payment their insurance company provides after an accident?

I've certainly never heard someone saying how good theirs is!

I have been, albeit car insurance.

Direct Line paid out full market value on a car I crashed. Three months later full market value of its replacement after it was totalled by a ned in a stolen car. Two weeks after that they sent me a cheque to cover my xs which they had claimed back from MIB.

Didn't have to argue with the payout on either claim, both payouts were fair prices.

That's just common to any industry though, people get good service and don't feel the need to post endlessly on t'interweb to tell everyone about it. Get bad service, however, and guess what.....
