A tad over price but if you want a Gix seven fiddy its a good choice in bike.
Main thing to watch out for is warped disks (apparently a k5 6 and 750 problem) and a noisy CCT but its not a problem as they all sound like it only way to fully kill the noise is to fit a manual one. ____________________ ◙◙► K6 GSXR 600 ◄◙◙◙◙► K5 GSXR 1000 ◄◙◙◙◙► K5 GSXR 600 ◄◙◙◙◙► 96 RF600r ◄◙◙

It is from a dealer, so therefore overpriced - wrong colour too.
They are quite tall in comparison with other Gixers, so make sure you have no problems that way.
I had mine for just over 3 years, never missed a beat, started first time, all the time, toured on it, scratched on it, took it around the 'ring a few times.
Ride it like a big 600 (as opposed to a small 1000), and it gives maximum smiles per mile.
Cracking bikes.

It's over priced for sure, a little more effort into the hunt and you'll get something better ____________________ Suzuki GSX-R750K4 ~ Mivv GP |

Had a test ride yesterday, in between showers.
Test ride started with dealer showing me the clock layout etc, and warning me for the 20th time to take it handy lol, I think he was almost as nervous as I was.
Not wanting to make a knob of myself I reved the engine a few times in neutral to get an idea of the throttle, and popped her into gear. Indicator, shoulder and pull off, slightly high revs but not making myself look stupid, and on up the road.
Bike immediatly felt different to sitting on it in the shop, my knees were pressing against the tank, and overall, the seating position was alot more comfortable than I had been expecting. I have a bad knee and a bad ankle, and to be honest, I couldnt feel much difference in the position of my legs to the CBR, although i was lent slightly further foward, not enough to worry me about wrist pain though.
The bike felt good, I felt comfortable on it (unlike my spin on a Ducati 748 a while ago, I felt as though I was perched on top of it like a bird, and felt very top heavy.)
As I approached a roundabout I changed down the gears and then pulled in the clutch.... silence...... I thought she'd died on me, but no, it's just that the engine is able to drop the revs ALOT quicker than the CBR lol.
So off I set around the roundabout andtowards Lisburn, overtaking a few cars, but not wanting to go too hard as the road was very wet. Got a bit confused a couple of times when I went to check the clocks, as I was expecting the CBR layout to be there.
I found it a bit wierd having the speed on a digital readout, but I suppose you get used to it.
Another roundabout, and I enter the sliproad for the M1 to Belfast, the sliproad is a long right hander, and as I raise up the ramp into the open a gust hits me and OMG I thought I'd loose it. The stearing is VERY responsive (aftermarket stearing dampener may be called for).
Onto the motorway then, and up to speed, overtake a few cars, get into a clear space and then drop the speed a bit, and open her up for a few seconds. (by open her up I mean 9k revs lol) and she zips up to 90.
Wow, this thing is effortless, it seems like I'm doing no speed at all, and the engine isn't even making that much noise, well not that I can hear over the ackrapovic.
The bike sounds electrical, it whirrs and is smooth, where as my 10 year old CBR was more cluncky and mechanical sounding. the GSXR makes my CBR feel like a tractor.
All in all, a great bike, I just wish I had a better day to test it, but all seems to be in order.

lol nice, reason i asked was because im only 5"6 and I was looking at Honda CBR600RR, I sat on the thing and i could just about tip toe. The salemans said it was fine for me (trying to get a sale maybe?) but i didn't feel comfotable sitting on it at all. The tank was massive, the bike felt really heavy, like my legs was gonna give way!
Maybe i just need to get use to a 600 when I eventually own one
looking good on the bike BTW ____________________ on the look out for my next bike....
