Hi im looking to buy a Honda CRM 250 AR. Can anyone tell me if it is premix or does it have a separate tank?

You wont be dissapointed with one either
just make sure you get a bit of a test ride, the powervalves can cause them some issue with getting stuck or just not working, check out the technical section of the forum on crm250.com

I was thinking about getting one of these, but nothing really came up in good time, so gone for a Yam now - As stated visit CRM250.com for the full lowdown
But from the 'looking into it' that I have done, I think the general consensus is that the MK2.2 or MK3 are the best buy! The AR is a bit radical (pun intended) and therefore not perhaps the best one to get.

I really liked the MK2 I rode in the Cambrian rally years ago. It went like stink, the only downside being when decelerating down hill, I like a bit of engine braking. I crashed it quite heavily, taking out a Yamaha Serow in the process and all that happened was one of the handguards fell off. This was all in the middle of the firing range where we weren't supposed to leave the marked track, but somehow managed to. Followed the Serow rider back onto course so if there was any UXBs, he would set them off.
