Seems an expensive and not that great choice for stunting.
Should be ok for slowish things - my (a bit more powerful) CCM would wheelie and stoppy ok, but if I wanted a bike for messing about doing stunts and choose a bit more power and a lot less money.

KTM covers a rather wide range of bikes. A lot of older ones have some questions over reliability. The earlier (pre 690) earlier LC4s are known for their vibes.

The DRZs aren't great for sitting on A-roads.

im looking for a winter bike really as it seems pointless buying a shiny thruxton with the weather doing what it is atm and a supermoto seems like a nice change. what would you recommend then? can't have anything too powerful as i'm still on a2 and although ride unrestricted i dont want to draw too much attention to myself Wink

If you want a road 'supermoto'...
I'd look at a Husky SM610. You get a lot more for your money - better suspension, a more powerful engine with a wider ratio gearbox and about the same weight.
The SM610 seems to make more sense as an 'all round' bike. The KTM690 is a fairly similar bike and I've a total of around 5000 miles of touring on mine.

Compare to KTM's the DRZ is very smooth, but has a fair amount less power and softer suspension, less sophisticated suspension too.

DRZ is a good fun commuter tool and good for learning on.

KTM's are a bit ballistic and require some self control in the first few gears, particularly if you're light as I am. DRZ has to be clutched up and needs the suspension adjusting to make stoppies easier.

A full on Supermoto makes an ok winter bike but it can be hard to get traction on the cold tyres and due to the way it makes it's power.

Completely different bike imo, not yet ridden the Husqvarna but been meaning to.

For stunting I'd get and older KTM. Or even better get an olde CBR6 or a Hornet.
