Price advice

Theres a bike for sale near me and Im half tempted to go and have a proper look lol but Im not sure if maybe the price is a little steep really.

Its a completely naked bandit 600,
Its done 18000 miles and is 1999 reg (S).
Apparently (and based on the pictures) its in excellent condition, No scratches or dents,
Its got new tyres, sprockets and chain,
Comes with a full service, 12 months mot and tax,
33bhp restrictor kit fitted.

Asking price is £2100, including fitting for the 33bhp kit...is that about right or a bit too much?

A quick look on ebay says thats way over priced...2003 model with 4k miles is up for 2.2k

its a lot. I'd not pay more than 1500 for a '99 Bandit and that was one that is absolutely MINT.

That's way overpriced.

My mate just picked up a 1998 Bandit 600, 8,000 genuine miles, excellent condition, totally original for £1200.

Thanks for your replies, I thought it was a bit steep but wasnt sure as it has new tires etc. £200 of it is for the 33bhp kit and fitting! Shocked

But at the end of the day it is a naked ten year old bike lol

Theres another one near me that is 2005, 11000 miles but has some sort of 'insurance history' but its only £1995 lol

If not, I've got a 2001 ER5 for sale which I'll give away at the bargain price of just over a grand. Smile
