looked through the docs, can't see what I want, or mean, or can't search and it's pissing me off now. Sure someone on here knows... How do I let a user have access to the Administration Control Panel? I think I've done it but the user I've added can't get past the "To administer the board you must re-authenticate yourself" screen, it won't accept his password. Ta - available

Sounds like he's inputting the password badly? Try changing the password to something very simple and have him try again.

Good shout Hetzer. See, nothing is as simple as it needs to be, I've got a Joomla forum, with a bridge hack installed and a new phpbb3 forum. Seems the accounts from the Joomla installation aren't automatically dragged over to phpbb3. Need to find a way to get them all in sync.

Nope, Mehdi's bridge - seems like it integrates a little better with the Joomla site, and barring this little issue of me not reading the fecking instructions, works very well indeed.
