Suomy UK Dealers?? Arai padding??

Hi everyone Very Happy

Im looking for a Suomy Spec 1R Extreme and I can't find any UK dealers where I could actually try one on, I really don't want to order one of the internet incase its the wrong size! I really like the look of them, there really light and get excellent reviews. Any help would be much appriciated!

Also, Ive got an Arai Chaser that I will use for track use and its become a little loose over the last year as the padding seems to have got thinner, so I was wondering where I could get some thicker padding for it to make it fit a little tighter?

Chaser cheek pads on ebay for about £25 all in, iirc. 3 sizes to choose from. Thumbs Up

I was after a Suomy but the lack of distributors put me off and I got a RX7 instead. I think George whites in swindon do them.

If you wash the pads out it'll give them some of their "bounce" back for a few weeks. Thumbs Up

I had a Suomy a few years back and I thought it was a pile of shit! Ok it was light, fairly comfortable and looked cool but the build quality really let it down.. I had to return mine twice because the paint started to peel of after a few months, it did it happened again but by that time it was out of warranty.

I'm sure things may have improved since then of maybe I was just unlucky. Since then I have only used Arai because they just seem to fit my head better then any other brand and they last!
