Humm I thought it was strange when I seen a thread with no red dot attached (yet). Maybe Cov is taking a rest for the evening wizzard, everyone needs a rest. Mr. Green

I have no idea what cov is talking about. I could rate it confusing but I always save my karma for really vile people.

To be fair to our pet red blobber, Life is a brilliant program. I'd recommend it to people that had no interest in either wildlife or photography, but if you have the slightest interest in either it is an absolute must. It took 'em 3 or 4 years to make the series and it's worth every penny of licence payer's money.

I quite liked how they addressed the moral issue of shooting a water buffalo every day for 5 weeks whilst the Komodos slowly killed it before devouring it in 4 hours. Must be hard to sit there and watch such an innocent yet powerful beast all day, every day for 5 weeks, yet knowing you are capturing something on film that has never been shown on TV in such exquisite detail.

What channel was it on? Is there a 'watch again' somewhere on t'interweb? I love a good nature programme - especially if it's got Komodo's in it.
I remember watching the late, great Steve Irwin get chased up a tree by one, it took a bite out of the heel of his boot - in typical Irwin fashion, he still managed to be enthusiastic about the whole experience!

It is hid away on one of those obscure channels on the end of your digibox.

Yay, so it'll be on the iplayer.
About that time last night I was watching a very interesting documentary about the scuppering of the French Navy during WW2 (the dirty little surrender monkeys) - so that explains how i missed it.

Hang on, it was Tuesday yesterday, wasn't it? Being unemployed, days have no meaning to me. Fantastic!
