How many times did you try and kick start it? Normally I'd say if it won't start from a couple of kicks you have a different problem, but an old colleague had a PGO 125 4-stroke scooter that took me about 30 kicks to get started when his battery died (I have no idea why, perhaps he flooded it from trying to start it before I got there). ____________________ H100 Breaking for spares |

if the bike is running and not keeping charge the battery could be on the way out or the reg rec might not be working and be charging the battery when its running ____________________ Carbon knuckles assure you maximum protect against debris and unfortunate accidents or if someone cuts you off, their side mirror.Mopeds are like chubby chicks.. they are really fun to ride until you're friends catch you on one |

Last time I had that problem it was the Pulse Generator Coil not generating enough charge.
I tried allsorts of stuff - replaced the starter motor, wiring loom (cos it was well interfered with anyway), spark plug, ignition coil and battery.
I'd already ruled out the reg/rec and CDI unit, the only thing left was the Generator Coil - replaced that and it came back to life. The inside of the pick up cover was absoloutly minging with sludge, not sure how though ____________________ ZX6R F3 |
