GSXR help!

Hi guys need some help with a quick query:
Looking a buying a trackbike and saw a GSXR 600 K3 today
at some point in the conversation he said this is the choke and I said I didnt know fuel injection used a chose and he said it didnt have fuel injection, its carbs.

Now Im confused. It made that whirring noise on the clocks when you turn the ignition on so it cant be that old. Surely Suzuki wernt 3 years late bringing in fuel injection? Maybe its either not k3 or he's wrong?

can anyone clear this up?

Gixxer 600's since '00 i.e. the K series (Post SRAD) are fuel injected. That whirring noise is I believe the fuel pump priming on fuel injected bikes. Notice how your 929 Blade whirrs when you turn the ignition on too?

How much is it going for?

Theres a really nice CBR600RR, 127bhp at the rear wheel, ohlins internals and a maxton rear shock on Ebay at the moment for £3400.

I was going to get it my self but I've not got the cash at the moment!

just managed to find out its not got automatic choke for the fuel injection, basically changes the idle speed

its only £1500, im looking for something cheap but cheers anyway
